air conditioning Evaporators

The evaporator or sometimes referred to as evaporator core, is one of

two heat exchanges components in your vehicles air conditioning system.

The other is the Condenser. The Evaporator is located usually inside

the passenger compartment, quite often deeply buried in the dash

assembly.

Vehicles such as some vans and 4WD have two evaporators; one behind

that dash and another one located in or towards to rear of the vehicle.

An evaporator looks like a radiator just thicker and small overall size,

it consists of a series of internal tubes ‘flow paths’
